Gaza - Building A Premise for Unity

By Ahmed Nibras

The standard position of Islamic Scholarship about Gog & Magog is that they still remain behind the barrier built by Dhul Qarnain. In recent times, it is the emergence of Islamic Eschatology as a supremely important branch of knowledge which has created a legendary new trend, shifting away from this position. Sheikh Imran Nazar Hosein has been pioneering this branch of knowledge, but it appears that his teachings simply fly over the heads of the overwhelming majority of the respected scholars of Islam who graduate from an Islamic University, be it Al Azhar, Madinah or a Darul Uloom. With each passing day, it is evident that relentless oppression and injustice increases in the Holy Land, and yet, the man who clearly explained the destiny of Jerusalem from the Quran more than two decades ago, is denied, to the extent of being banned from teaching in the Masajid!

It cannot be contested by anyone that the world of Islam remains divided on key issues, and the lack of unity results in a lack of unified action. The unity which we lack today, will never come unless and until we realise the reality of the age in which we live today. It is our view that as long as we remain divided on the subject of Gog and Magog, we can essentially expect no change for the conditions of our brethren suffering in the Holy Land. There is at least evidence of empty calls for action and failed promises for well over seven decades! What appears out in the open is Fasad - Destruction and Corruption, which the Holy Quran identifies to be the footprint of Gog and Magog:

إنّ يأجوج و مأجوج مفسدون في الأرض

(Surely, it is Gog and Magog who commit Fasad on earth) - Surah Al Kahf

The Holy Qur’an foretold that Gog and Magog will make their way to the Holy Land and then dominate over the entire region in Surah Al Anbiya:

(There is a Divine ban on a people preventing them from returning to their town, until Gog and Magog are released. Then you will see them spread out in that entire region after having taken control of every elevated hill of strategic importance. And when the true promise occurs, the eyes of the evil people will stare in horror and they will say “Woe unto us, we were heedless about this and we were indeed oppressors!” ) - Surah Al Anbiya 95 - 97

On the failure to recognise the ‘town’ (قرية ) as The Holy Land:

1. The town is described topographically as one having hills and elevated areas of land - كل حدب . [Terrain Model of the Gaza Strip and West Bank | Library of Congress (]

2. Gog and Magog will make their way into the town along with its people who were Divinely expelled from it, and there will be relentless oppression and destruction.

3. A final promise connected to the destiny of the town, when fulfilled, will cause the disbelievers to openly confess to their crimes in horror.

If we fail to recognise the town as Jerusalem, there will be a challenge to identify another town which has the topographical features as described, and such that the inhabitants of the town were Divinely expelled from it. There will be a challenge to identify the people of that town who will return back to the town with Gog and Magog and rain down hell and destruction therein. There will be a challenge to define a prophecy connected with such a town which will evidently cause the evil people to confess to their crimes in horror.

If the above challenges cannot be answered, then it remains totally baseless to say that the town is not Jerusalem. By implication, it would mean that the Jewish people returned to Jerusalem with the aid of Gog and Magog and are consequently raining down death and destruction therein. And the final prophecy connected with Jerusalem is the return of Nabi Isa عليه السلام - the son of the Blessed Virgin Maryam عليها السلام. Every Muslim believes that he will return and he will kill the Dajjal - the False Messiah. The Jews who accept Dajjal as their Messiah and commit all the greatest of crimes to create and sustain an illegitimate state in the Holy Land for him to rule the world, will then cry in horror when Nabi Isa عليه السلام returns and will find themselves with no other words to utter, other than confessing to their crimes.

On the failure to recognise the release of Gog & Magog:

There are no contradictions in the Quran, and if one sees any, the fault is in his heart. There has been an utter failure by those who hold firmly on to the non-admissibility of the release of Gog & Magog, to successfully locate the barrier of Dhul Qarnain and it has only reduced the validity of their own standing in the community. Any claim to the location of the barrier at a remote corner of the world, for instance in Greenland, is nothing short of a particle of dust that ought to be wiped off from our clothes, if such a claim is not connected to the sign par-excellence of the end times or Akhiru Zaman – the return of Nabi Isa عليه السلام, as explained above. Our Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم taught us that it is the destiny of the son of Mary (عليه السلام) to be a just ruler!

Dhul Qarnain represented an era of faith when power was used to punish the oppressor and liberate the oppressed. He travelled in the western direction and successfully demonstrated this in the region of the Black Sea. When he then travelled east and reached the Caspian sea, he saw a people left in destruction and destitution, without any cover from the sun as a consequence of Fasad inflicted on them, like the people in Gaza today. He learned from them about Gog and Magog and immediately travelled to the north:

حَتَّىٰٓ إِذَا بَلَغَ مَطْلِعَ ٱلشَّمْسِ وَجَدَهَا تَطْلُعُ عَلَىٰ قَوْمٍۢ لَّمْ نَجْعَل لَّهُم مِّن دُونِهَا سِتْرًۭا

كَذَٰلِكَ وَقَدْ أَحَطْنَا بِمَا لَدَيْهِ خُبْرًۭا

ثُمَّ أَتْبَعَ سَبَبًا

(Until he reached at the place where the sun rises, and he found that it was rising over a people who had nothing remaining to shield themselves from it. He left them as such and I (Allah) am aware about the knowledge he had when he left them and traveled north) - Surah Al Kahf: 90-92

In the Caucuses, he met a people who spoke a unique language and yet described the perpetrators of Fasad as “Gog and Magog” despite their entire language being different. And in spite of being a different people, they sought his help against Gog & Magog. This could only be if they were a people having faith in the One Lord Most High. These people who had faith also called him as "Dhul Qarnain" demonstrating their understanding of what is to occur twice in history. And they requested for a barrier to be built to prevent Gog and Magog from travelling south, all of which indicates that they knew about Gog and Magog, the Anti-Christ and the Holy Land's destiny from their Prophet.

(Until he reached a pass between the two shell-shaped mountain ranges. He found another people there who did not speak and understand his language. They said: “ Oh Dhul Qarnain, Surely it is Gog and Magog who commit Fasad on earth, so shall we compensate you for building a barrier between us and them?) - Surah Al Kahf 93 - 94

Having knowledge of the imperial agenda of Gog and Magog to rule the world from Jerusalem, Dhul Qarnain unified the faithful people militarily and with his military and technological strengths, he successfully contained Gog and Magog.

(Dhul Qarnain replied: “What my Lord has given me is sufficient for me (I do not need a compensation), but assist me with your strength so that I may make a barrier between you and them. He said - “Bring me blocks of iron!” Then, when he had filled up the gap between the two ranges, he ordered, “Blow!” When the iron became red hot, he said, “Bring me molten copper to pour over it.” The barrier was built and Gog and Magog were unable to go over it or penetrate it) - Surah Al Kahf 95 - 97

This happened in the first era of faith in that region of the world, when Allah intervened, and Gog and Magog were unable to travel south to reach the Holy Land. Dhul Qarnain celebrated this victory by attributing it to the Mercy and Kindness of the One Lord!

(Dhul Qarnain said: This is only because of the Mercy of My Lord!) - Surah Al Kahf 98

[For the arguments elaborating why Dhul Qarnain means he whose life impacts upon two generations of people or two eras, and why Dhul Qarnain’s travels to the west was the Black Sea, to the east was the Caspian Sea and to the shell-shaped mountain range was the Caucasus, see Sheikh Imran Hosein’s book “As Islamic View of Gog and Magog in the Modern World”]

True faith will manifest outwardly when the conduct of a people is righteous. It is clear that in the first era, Allah intervened by unifying the people whose faith reflected their actions, when they decided to unite against the perpetrators of destruction. Such a decision was only possible when all of them recognised the enemy as ‘Gog and Magog’ . This is the intended message of this short essay. When they all recognised the enemy as Gog and Magog, they formed an alliance of different peoples or civilisations standing united for the liberation of the oppressed against the oppressor. We have evidence in Surah Al Kahf that in addition to having a military doctrine to liberate the oppressed, such an alliance would be Divinely gifted to contain the Fasad!

The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم informed us during his lifetime itself that something peculiar happened to the barrier built by Dhul Qarnain. Now, we see today that the Jewish people have returned to the Holy Land reclaiming it as their own, against Allah’s declaration of it being a land reserved for a people who act righteously (Qur’ān 21:105). The Zionist Jews have been raining down death and destruction upon a faithful people who believe in both Isa (Jesus) عليه السلام and Nabiyuna Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم . While the Fasad of Gog and Magog is not restricted to the destruction and chaos they cause in the Holy land, it is unavoidably one major part of their Fasad.

Since Dhul Qarnayn knew why Gog and Magog had to be contained, instead of being defeated, he also knew that eventually they will be set free over the Holy Land. He therefore issued a warning that when the appointed time comes, Allah will bring down the barrier and no trace of it will remain -

(So when the promise of Allah comes to pass, HE will bring down the barrier completely and then you will know that what Allah warned was true!) - Surah Al Kahf  98

If that has happened already, then the promise of Allah’s intervention can only come today if we remain united in this second era as they were united in the first era. The blessed Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم prophesied that it is to the united community of faithful believers that Nabi Isa عليه السلام will return, when he exclaimed:

  كَيْفَ أَنْتُمْ إِذَا نَزَلَ ابْنُ مَرْيَمَ فِيكُمْ وَإِمَامُكُمْ مِنْكُمْ

(What an amazing state (or condition) you will be in(!) when the son of Mary descends to you, and you will be united under an Imam who will be from your own ranks!)

Today, power which rests on the foundations of faith has already returned with a significant influence in the region of the Black Sea once again. But how do we Muslims build this unity? The holy Quran answered this question in Surah Al Anfal by mirroring Dhul Qarnain’s words in Surah al Kahf:

وَأَلَّفَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ ۚ لَوْ أَنفَقْتَ مَا فِى ٱلْأَرْضِ جَمِيعًۭا مَّآ أَلَّفْتَ بَيْنَ قُلُوبِهِمْ وَلَـٰكِنَّ ٱللَّهَ أَلَّفَ بَيْنَهُمْ  إِنَّهُۥ عَزِيزٌ حَكِيمٌۭ

(….and HE joined their hearts. No amount of expenditure spent for uniting them will succeed even if all that is on earth is compensated expecting such a result, but it is only Allah who can unite their hearts ….) - Surah Al Anfal 63

The heart is endowed with a capacity to see internally and recognise truth and distinguish it from falsehood. The cruel destruction inflicted on the people of Gaza can be the premise for unity in recognising the enemy today, more than ever! Those who are not blind in their hearts will see that Gog and Magog have already reached the Holy Land as prophesied in the Quran and have been committing the same type of Fasad that they committed at the eastern tip of the land joining with the Caspian see in the first age. The destruction inflicted is to such an extent that the poor people have no cover between themselves and the scorching sun! They can simply contrast this with the Jewish claim of a golden age to see the uncorrupted truth from falsehood!

Unity on the recognition of the enemy as Gog & Magog:

It is therefore the recognition of the enemy as Gog and Magog that can unite the Muslim world and which will also facilitate for us to reach that Divinely destined alliance with the faithful Christian community who await the return of Jesus. Hence we call for this recognition by the Sunnis and the Shias, by every Christian faithful to Jesus and by every non-Zionist Jew faithful to Moses, we call for this recognition by any people who believe that it is the One Lord who has created us and as a result of this belief choose to stand with the oppressed against the oppressor. We even extend the call to a Hindu who has his heart in the right place, and stands with the oppressed against the oppressor by recognising the age, which in their scriptures is the Kali Yuga characterised by kings who will inflict death and destruction on all, especially on women and children. It is Gog and Magog who are in control of the Holy Land today, and the hour for the appearance of the False Messiah has drawn closer!

(There is Divine ban on the Jewish people from returning to the Holy Land until Gog and Magog are released! Then you will see them spread in and around around the Holy Land, after having taken control of every strategic hill in the region, thereby establishing their state) - Surah Al Anbiya - 95 - 96

We infer from the above verses of Surah Al Anibya that there were three processes through which Gog and Magog returned and took control of the Holy Land. The second two processes dynamically evolved from the first over a period of three distinct timelines and then they remained intertwined with each other throughout the history of the state of Israel. The three timelines are -

1) From the time of the discovery of Pharoah’s body until the British mandate of 1947 for the creation of a Jewish homeland in the Holy Land.

2) From the time of the establishment of the state of Israel until that state of Israel acquiring all territories of strategic importance in and around the Holy Land, completed with the outcomes of the six day war in 1967.

3) Post-1967 until the present, which will continue until the appearance of the False Messiah.

The first process is Jewish mass migration into the Holy Land signified by Allah’s saying يرجعون. It laid the foundations for what was to come. From the process of the Jewish return came the requirement for the establishment of a Jewish homeland in 1947. Considering that the Holy Land was surrounded by Arab states and since Israel faced internal threats from the Arab communities located within its borders at that early point of its history, it was necessary for the state of Israel to acquire control over strategic heights to ensure security of the state.

This second process resulted in Israel taking control of the 20,000 sq. kilometres of land area between the Mediterranean and the Jordan river, and an approximate 474 sq. kms of water resources by the end of the second timeline. However, the western and eastern parts of Jerusalem remained divided back then, with the latter being under the sovereignty of the Kingdom of Jordan. Out of the approximately 70% of land under Israel’s control, it had already gained control of a major part of the hilly terrains around the Holy Land. This included the Upper Galilee and lower Galilee located to the north-west of the Holy Land, Mt. Gilboa just at the border of the West Bank, and also the presence of Israeli settlements in Shamron which is located within the West Bank. Israel also gained control over the hilly terrains located towards its southern border.

The third process is signified by Allah’s saying ينسلون . Since the word نسل incorporates “offspring” as one of its meanings, it clearly suffices as evidence for the settler policies exhibited by the state of Israel since its establishment until the present day. Just as the influx of Jews to the Holy land increased in each period from the one that preceded it, the settlement trend also dynamically intensified during the third timeline compared to the second. The entirety of what was historically Palestine came under Israel’s control as a result of the six-day war of 1967, it annexed East Jerusalem and secured total control over the Holy Land. Israel also conquered the Golan heights from Syria allowing it to monitor Lebanon, Syria and Jordan. It also quickly established a military base on the highest peak in Mt Hemron allowing it to monitor military movements in Syria and Lebanon, termed as Mitzpe Shlagim  or “Snow lookout”.

After the six-day war in 1967, we see that the third process emerged as a three-tier policy particularly in and around East Jerusalem to establish total control over Jerusalem. The largely Jewish western Jerusalem quickly cast its shadow over the newly annexed eastern Jerusalem characterised by an Arab majority. The Israeli government then firstly established Jewish neighbourhoods along the meeting borders of the western and eastern parts of Jerusalem and established roads to link them together. Subsequently, they focused on increasing the presence of Jewish settlers in the eastern parts of Jerusalem with both military and strategic objectives; the settler blocs acted as a surveillance mechanism over the Arabs and also prevented the expansion and growth of Arab cities. It was easier to control the Arab communities when they were scattered as a result of strategically placing Jewish settlements amidst them. Thirdly, this settler trend specifically targeted elevated areas of strategic benefits, for instance:

1) Ma’ale Adumim at 500m above sea level which overlooks Jericho and Jordan to its east. Ma’ale Adumim was chosen to create “facts on the ground” as a response to the Rabat Summit held in Morocco that decided to recognise the PLO as the sole representative of the Palestinian people.

2) Gush Etzion Settlement bloc located at Judean Mountains, which all Israeli governments said they want to retain under all circumstances.

3) Giv'on HaHadasha annexed in 1977 is an example of a settlement in the West Bank.

While the Allon plan of 1967 provided a blueprint for the state of Israel to map their settlements and boasted “maximum security, maximum territory for Israel with minimum Arabs”, it was never officially declared to be implemented. Then there was Moshe Dayan’s plan, who being a former Israeli Defense Minister emphasised the need to set up army camps on all mountain crests. The most famous of all was Aerial Sharon’s Spatial Planning. Sharon proposed to setup settlements along the ridges of the West Bank to erase the Green Line. The Green Line was a border which separated the Palestinian territories from the Israeli territories around the Holy Land and the West Bank. The Jerusalem 2000 Master Plan is another one in this list which depicts Israel’s efforts to exercise total control over Jerusalem and its adjacent West Bank.

The West bank which includes the hills of Judea and Samaria was long compromised through the settler-expansionist policies as we briefly explained above. What makes Gaza unique is its location at the plains of the Mediterranean. The destruction being inflicted on Gaza today was planned long back when Sharon envisioned the borders of Israel reaching the heart of both the West Bank and Gaza. In this aspect, the nature of the destruction inflicted on Gaza today allows us to clearly see more than ever, that it is in-fact Gog and Magog who are in control of the Holy Land today, because Dhul Qarnain met the people at the land joining the Caspian sea in similar conditions that the we see the orphans of Gaza today. We realise that this recognition will transform into a  premise for building unity, in sha Allah!

As things stand today in the beginning days of the month of Jumāda al-Ūlā of the year 1445 Hijri, the destruction of Gaza also allows us to anticipate that since its internal challenges are completely compromised, the state of Israel will now advance on every foreign effort to ensure that its immediate strategic environment remains forever in its favour. Even though the governments of Egypt, Jordan, Lebanon and Syria have been forced into recognising Israel as a state, and even though other significant nations of the Arab world have legitimised its shameful existence in the Holy Land, Israel cannot ever allow another Yom Kippur War to take place.

For this, and for the fact that Dajjal will have to attempt to rule the world from Jerusalem, we anticipate that the strange phenomenon of Arab nations entering into socio-economic alliances with the state of Israel will tremendously benefit Israel than it will for them, as it will allow for the presence of the Jewish diaspora to slowly take root and multiply in the newly welcoming regions. Such an effort however will not be completely possible if the Arab nations also do not benefit immediately from this alliance. Dajjal has already given them hopes of converting the Middle East into the next Europe of the world. But more importantly, Israel’s Pax Judaica will not succeed in the newly emerging world order unless some type of imbalances affect these nations eventually, intended to politically destabilise them. We see the occurrence of the great war or Malhama to facilitate such a desired result for the state of Israel.

The nations that have already entered into an alliance with Israel remain hibernated. If those in control of the Hejaz also enter into such an alliance with Israel (which we know will occur), then it is most likely that Israel will instil efforts in its north-east that will ultimately lead to the Great War. We know from our Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم that the war will take place over the oil resources that were discovered along the lines of the Euphrates. [For the complete explanation, see Sheikh Imran Hosein’s book The Quran and the Great War] Pax Judaica will be able to offer an alternative to the petrodollar monetary system if the Arab producers of oil and gas along the lines of the Euphrates are first compromised. If the net result of the Great War is a broken Arab world, then Israel can successfully embark on a temporary Pax Judaica world order.

(The Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم said: The flourishing state of Jerusalem will be when Yathrib is incapacitated to play any significant role in the world. Yathrib being incapacitated will lead to the outbreak of the great war. The great war will lead to the conquest of Constantinople. The conquest of Constantinople will lead to the appearance of Dajjal. He then gently tapped on the thighs of Muaadh ibn Jabal and said: What I informed you in certainly true, just as you are here and seated here.) - Sunan Abi Dawud

We already explained that from one timeline to the next, there was always an intensification of each process carried out by Gog and Magog. If the destruction of Gaza ended all of Israel’s internal challenges, then until the appearance of the False Messiah, the intensification of the process of ينسلون will include what is facilitated through trade and economic alliances and whatever contributes to Israel exerting dominance in the region. The prophetic term “خراب يثرب” conveys the disapproval of the Prophet towards the alliance which those in control over the Hejaz today are about to establish, an alliance that will allow Israel to flourish. The above hadith identifies this unholy alliance as one factor which will ultimately contribute to the Great War, as such an alliance will urge the state of Israel to look elsewhere. (Those who are about to enter into such an alliance with Israel remain unaware that it is sowing the seeds of their own destruction).

While the dust of Gaza still remain in our eyes, we are located today at that unique time in history when we are simply meant to recognise the enemy and be united on this recognition that will certainly lead to an end time Muslim-Christian alliance prophesied in the Qur’an. [See Sheikh Imran Hosein’s Constantinople in the Quran] This recognition and its subsequent alliance, which will ultimately lead to the conquest of Constantinople, will succeed in containing Gog and Magog once more by limiting the influence of Pax Judaica before Dajjal appears in Israel.

Israel’s future efforts to its north-east will then have to go in a direction that will culminate in such a manner that when Constantinople returns to the control of Russia as part of a Muslim-Christian alliance, it will pose a significant threat to Israel. We can certainly see that the military doctrine of these faithful people who take part in this Divine alliance will also be a threat to Israel.

The fulfillment of a Quranic prophecy proving the truthfulness of both Jesus and Nabiyuna Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم will now force Israel to ‘manufacture’ (for want of a better word) a messiah figure to justify their claim for truth. We know that those in control of Yathrib will welcome the Jewish Messiah and organise a state welcome at the outskirts of the Holy city of Yathrib. However, he will be challenged from Sham and be threatened from the Mediterranean. We see that this will be the most suitable time for power which rests on the foundations of faith to return in the Hejaz!

Since power has already returned to those who are loyal to Nabi Isa عليه السلام as the Quran prophesied in Surah Aal Imran verse 55, and since the Quran prophesied that the Muslims will make an alliance with them in Surah Al Maidah, and since we know that the conquest of Constantinople has tremendous implications for those with faith, and since we know that the conquest of Constantinople will occur before Dajjal appears, we can safely conclude that there has to be a common ground that can bring our people together before power completely returns to the Hejaz (which will happen only) after Dajjal appears as a human being. This common ground can be the recognition of Gog and Magog as the enemy.

The strategic importance of uniting in the recognition of the release of Gog and Magog is that it will lead us to understand the mission of the False Messiah. It automatically allows us to realise the direction in which the world is going – the imminent arrival of the false Messiah who will then attempt to rule the world from Jerusalem. It is therefore of utmost importance that the larger Muslim community come to this realisation in order to capitalise on Israel’s future destabilisation efforts over its neighbouring countries. This will allow us to reach the Divinely promised alliance with a faithful Christian people. If the Muslim public opinion on the issue of Gog and Magog is not united, there will not be any fuel in the ground level at Hejaz for the authentic public order to return once more when Dajjal appears as a human being! Since we know that it will most certainly return at that time, we merely have to unite on the recognition of Gog and Magog now and attempt to transform Muslim public opinion on the subject of Gog and Magog!

The process of return only intensified after each period and allowed for the state of Israel to establish Jewish settlements in areas of strategic importance. It was Iqbal who recognised this influx of Jews to the Holy Land from all over the world to be connected with Gog and Magog. He emphasised the community to pay attention to Allah’s saying ينسلون (Yansilun) in Surah Al Anbiyah. Allah uses the same word in Surah Yasin to describe the hasty gathering of all people towards HIM from every direction on the day of judgment. Iqbal declared therefore that Gog and Magog had been released into the world and facilitated this return of the Jews to the Holy Land.

“Khul gaye y’ajuj aur m’ajuj ka lashkar tamam,

Chashmay Muslim dekhlay tafseer harf-e-yansiloon.”

(“The hordes of Gog and Magog, Have all been released;

The Muslim can now perceive with his very eyes (right in front of him), The meaning of yansiloon.”)

It is in this light that Sheikh Imran Hosein explained the first Gog and Magog world order which brought a state of Israel into being. However, Islamic scholarship has largely failed to acknowledge this legendary insight by Iqbal and the unmatched scholarship of Sheikh Imran to explain that world order which brought the state of Israel into existence. Today, the destruction inflicted on Gaza suffices as additional evidence that Gog and Magog have indeed reached the Holy land, and so it is high time to realise that they had already been released into the world a long time ago. It is important to acknowledge this because it is unanimously held that Gog and Magog remained behind a barrier, and no people came out of any barrier to answer the Zionist call! The only remaining sound conclusion is that they were released a long time ago.

Furthermore, as Allah suggested in Surah Al Kahf verse 98 (quoted above), we are only able to see that Allah has left no trace for the barrier! This is why those who refuse to accept the reality, have miserably failed to locate it. Naturally, it becomes incumbent now to return to Sheikh Imran Hosein’s works (in particular, Jerusalem in the Quran, An Islamic View of Gog and Magog in the Modern World) because he realised that they were released a long time ago and were responsible for the creation of a world order which eventually led to the British mandate of 1947. Our explanation of Allah’s words -  و هم من كل حدب ينسلون  to explain the creation and sustenance of the state of Israel in the Holy Land does not differ from his explanation as it is only an attempted extension and continuation of the same. We opine that Pax Judaica simply cannot completely dominate over the entire world!

While Gog and Magog were inflicting Fasad and oppression from every position of authority and influence in the world during the prime years of the earlier world order as Sheikh Imran Hosein rightly explained,  Allah then eventually brought Russia out of their shadows and raised Russia as a super power with the ability to resist the hegemonic modern western civilisation. Russia emerged as a civilisation in its own right representing faith in the One Lord. Russia’s significant control in the region of the Black Sea today is a clear sign that they have been endowed with the military capacity to resist and punish the oppressor. Russia has checkmated them in Ukraine and they are unable to respond to Russia. The sanctions imposed on Russia have backfired, the explanation of which requires a separate analysis. International efforts to challenge the monetary system of the earlier world order, and the imminent threat to the US dollar all are facts which prove that the earlier world order is in irreversible decline, as Allah promised to Nabi Isa عليه السلام (Jesus) in the Holy Qur’an:

وَجَاعِلُ الَّذِينَ اتَّبَعُوكَ فَوْقَ الَّذِينَ كَفَرُواْ إِلَى يَوْمِ الْقِيَـمَةِ

(…And I will make those who follow you (Jesus) dominant over those who deny you (the jews), and when that happens, it will continue like that until the Day of Judgement) - Surah Aal Imran, 55

Gog and Magog are now able to show their dominance in the vicinity of the Holy Land as it is a part of their destiny. Israel’s outright defiance of the instructions of the United Nations and the world community is yet another clear sign that Dajjal has already entered his day like a week and displaying dominance! This new circumstance in Gog and Magog projecting their temporary dominance from the state of Israel has now allowed us to look at the Holy verses of Surah Al Anbiya to be explained in a way that is more focused on Dajjal’s illegitimate state of Israel and its future acts of Fasad. Our explanation uses the foundation laid by Sheikh Imran Hosein without which it would have been impossible for anyone to write or read this essay and all credit is due to him.

End Note

In the first era, there was a pious ruler who had faith and who had the military doctrine to liberate the oppressed. He exhibited this doctrine in the region of the Black Sea. When Gog and Magog inflicted terrible destruction on another people living along the Caspian Sea, the ruler and all people who had faith in the Lord God united in recognising the enemy to be Gog and Magog. It was the nature and extent of oppression, which caused all people with faith to form an alliance to contain the evil people.  They undertook a joined effort to contain Gog and Magog by preventing them from traveling south to reach the Holy Land because they had knowledge that that was where Gog and Magog were headed.

Now, in the second era, as prophesied in the Quran, the barrier is no more and Gog and Magog have finally reached Jerusalem. Allah has already raised a ruler who has the exact same military doctrine and who exhibited it in the region of the Black Sea. Gog and Magog have inflicted massive destruction once again, this time in Gaza. Whether we like it or we not, the time is now upon us to unite on recognising them as Gog and Magog, in order to form an alliance with Christian Russia to check-mate them once again at Constantinople.

In the first era, the location of Gog and Magog to the north of the Caucuses and their inflicting of destruction at the eastern tip of the land at the shores of the Caspian Sea, points to their intended further movement to the south. In an attempt to rule the world, they may have set their eyes on the Euphrates and Jerusalem. The barrier restricted their efforts to reach Jerusalem (only possible if they first crossed the Euphrates) because it was built at the Darial Gorge in the Caucuses. It was a location of strategic importance knowing their motive of attempting to rule the world by hook or by crook. In the second era, Gog and Magog are now located at Jerusalem. If they have massacred Gaza at the shores of the Mediterranean now and set their eyes on gaining control of the oil reserves located along the Euphrates, then the strategic location to checkmate them will be to bring an existential threat to them from the west of Israel through the conquest of Constantinople. The conquest will jeopardise the mission of Gog and Magog to establish a completely dominant Pax Judaica. This will be the premise for a Messiah figure to emerge in Israel in order to over shadow their clear loss at the world stage:

Conversation of Hafsa to Ibn Umar recorded in Sahih Muslim, which shows that the Sahaba (May Allah be pleased with all of them) knew that Dajjal would appear as a result of extreme anger and frustration -

She said: What did you want from Ibn Sayyad despite knowing that the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم  said : “He (Dajjal) will appear as a result of extreme anger” ?

It is our beloved Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم who provided us with the information that they will focus north-east of the Holy Land in an attempt to dominate the world when he prophesied that the Great War will be fought for a mountain of gold which the river Euphrates will uncover. By instructing Muslims not to touch that gold, it is this writer’s opinion that the Prophet صلى الله عليه و سلم is directing us to focus on transforming Muslim opinion on Gog and Magog which can lead to check-mating them eventually at Constantinople, instead of failing miserably by scrambling for power by partaking in the coming Great War and foolishly overlooking the guidance located in Surah Al Kahf. Therefore, the world owes him صلى الله عليه و سلم all due respect and honour!

Allah describes that Gog and Magog are perpetrators of Fasad. Because of Gaza, we were able to see that over the years, they drew three intricate circles to enact their Fasad described by Allah’s saying Yansilun ينسلون , or more particularly Wa Hum Min Kulli Hadabin Yansilun وهم من كل حدب ينسلون as:

1. Returning to the Holy Land and increasing their presence for creating a requirement for the establishment of a state.

2. Establishing the state through a world order and further securing it strategically by gaining control of strategic areas of interest.

3. Inflicting terrible death and destruction thereafter to further the agenda of strengthening that state.

Since the process of securing strategic heights were intended for expanding and securing their state, in the light of this understanding that came from the Glorious Quran, we are now able to foresee the next steps that Pax Judaica will be inclined to take:

1. A world order that secures the state from every strategic point, through friendly relations or otherwise, which will strengthen its dominance in the region. (Establishing alliances with Arab leaders who otherwise would pose a significant threat - Kharabu Yathrib is included here, among others like Egypt who may be forced into it.)

2. Creating the requirements in the region that will open the door for them to make an effort to gain their conception of a ruling state in the world through the Malhama or the Great War, for gaining control of the oil-rich territories along the Euphrates.

3. Causing terrible destruction over the Arab heartland in the process, in a desperate attempt to ensure no significant threat.

In our view, the conquest of Constantinople will check-mate them once again amidst this and they will face a clear loss of strategy for a second time in history because of faithful people uniting against them. Whether they like it or not, the following will happen:

I. The conquest of Constantinople will signal the imminent return of the Caliphate as prophesied by the Prophet Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم who also prophesied the conquest

II. ….who صلى الله عليه و سلم   also prophesied the conquest of Constantinople, which will take away their strategic advantage in the region!

Gaza is no accident! Gaza lies at the shores of the Mediterranean to signal that they can only be check-mated once again from its direction, just as the events at the Caspian shore signalled to them that Gog and Magog were moving south, thereby allowing them to build a barrier at the Darial Gorge which was the only way for the Gog and Magog armies to travel south!

The prophesied events of Malhama and the subsequent conquest of Constantinople will test the integrity of this short essay.

“ Gazah ne diya sirf Shams ko salam

Jab Harf-e-yansilun ek bhaari amal ban gaye

Sadaq Allah jab Rab ne Bola

Lam Naj’ al lahum Min Duniha Sitra ”

“ Gazah only greeted the sun with Salaam,

As Yanisilun evolved from being a single word to a heavy deed (laden with sin)

True are Allah’s words when HE said:

لم نجعل لهم من دونها سترا

(They were found in a state of having no covering from the sun)
